MiDCOM Diwali Scramble 2018

Midcom Group continued its annual support of the Golfing community by organizing the Midcom Diwali Scramble at the prestigious Emirates Gold Club. In it's 5th year, the event has become one of the most popular event in the Season's calendar and this year was no different. The tournament had over 135 participants, with an exciting game of Golf during the day followed by the Awards Ceremony and a lavish dinner in the evening. The dinner was graced by majority of the participants in their traditional outfits making it a very colorful evening. 
A big congratulations to all the winners and special thanks to all the participants for making this such a successful event. We would also like to share our immense gratitude to African & Eastern for coming on board as the Beverage Partners.  Lastly, a big shout out goes to the entire staff at Emirates Golf Club for all their support  without which this event would not have taken place.  Wishing everyone a Happy Diwali!

​MiDCOM sponsors 4th edition of Annual Diwali Scramble Golf Event at the picturesque Majlis course at Emirates Golf club. Every year, this event draws avid golfers from all over the UAE and this year was no different as this year witnessed a fabulous turnout of 132 players.
The event was followed by games were and a stand-up performance by UAE;s king of comedy Ali Al Sayed which left the audience in splits with his witty one-liners. The evening concluded with a grand gala dinner and party that carried on till the wee hours of the night.
A special thank you to all the participants and guests for their support and enthusiasm. Here’s wishing everyone a wonderful year ahead!

3RD MIDCOM BUSINESS CHALLENGE HELD IN JAIPURIA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT LUCKNOW

The most awaited award of the year for the students of Jaipuria Institute Management – MiDCOM Business Challenge was held recently on the eve of Jaipuria’s 22nd Founders Day on 8th September in their Lucknow Campus. The month-long contest saw a total of 32 teams submit their Entrepreneurial ideas.​

The MiDCOM Business challenge is an initiative, whereby students prepared and submitted business plans, feasibility study and financial viability of their business idea. The winner of the contest was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 500,000 from Mr. Vishal Bhargava, Region Head- East Africa, MiDCOM Group and Chief Guest Mr. S.P. Prashar.

It was an absolutely magical night at the Muson Center in Lagos! A sweet blend of music, comedy, dance, and drama as Lafup2 showcased their talent to a packed audience. The event kick started with a red carpet session and had in attendance over a thousand fans. It was a performance to remember from artists Alibaba, Woli Agba, Lepacious Bose, Funny Bone, Kenny Blaq, Afra Arole, Omobaba to DJ Neptune & DJ Banky who kept the audience entertained from 7 PM.

LATO MILK VISITS SCHOOLS ACROSS TANZANIA

Lato Milk's latest campaign aims to educate students across Tanzania about benefits of drinking milk every day. The one month drive which started from the 24th of July aims to cover several schools across Kinondoni and Temeke regions of Tanzania. As part of the campaign, milk powder and liquid UHT milk were distributed amongst the kids along with posters which illustrated the benefits of drinking milk every day.
The Lato Mascot - Mr. Lato, kept the children enthused by playing fun games with them. The activities were received with great zeal by the children. With many fun and informative games, Lato school bags and clocks were given to the children as prizes. Lato Milk strives to spread awareness about the need for growing children to drink milk every day for better health.

MIGUEL KATENDE IS THE MOTOCROSS BRAND AMBASSADOR FOR LATO MILK

Lato Milk has appointed Miguel Katende as its brand ambassador to support his participation in the upcoming National Motocross Championship. The sponsorship will see him embrace the Lato Milk colors and race in the upcoming Uganda National Motocross Championship 2017. Miguel resonates passion, energy, and speed, all of which is very consistent with Lato’s brand image. Through this campaign, Lato Milk will participate and support initiatives that enable the younger generation to achieve their goals and encourage fellow kids to exploit their talent and aspirations in different activities. The deal comes as part of the Lato Milk's "Makes It Happen" campaign which seeks to emphasize the life-giving value of Lato milk and further show that consuming milk and dairy products can also be energizing, fun and joyful. The campaign also seeks to position Lato as a brand that is not only trusted but also one that brings positive energy and wellness to our lives through its nutritious and delicious products. The Motocross championship is one such initiative for children like Miguel Katende to show off their skill and talent.
